“Needing help is not a sign of failure. It is a sign of simply being human.” -Anonymous. The issues that arise in life often leave us feeling alone, isolated, defeated, anxious, depressed, fearful, frustrated, and empty. My practice is centered on instilling hope and empowerment, which then fosters change. I can also help you learn to cope, adjust, process and live a life that is centered in making healthy choices; which may help mitigate these painful feelings. Although therapy may be an uncomfortable process for\ many, it is well worth it. Investing in your mental health is the single best choice you can make for yourself.
My Approach and Values
As an LCSW, my approach is client-centered, strengths-based and revolves around hope and empowering you to achieve a higher level of functioning and understanding of the problem(s) that brought you to seek help. I treat adults through both in-office appointments or online (teletherapy) appointments.
Reaching out for help to a professional can be anxiety provoking. Let me be the one to guide you to a better understanding of yourself and your problems, so that you may have a happier and more fulfilling life. There is nothing you cannot work through, and you, like many others, can be helped.
My Education
I am trained in EMDR, CBT, and DBT.
