Lorinda Morreale, LMFT
Hi, my name is Lorinda. I have been a family therapist for 30 years. I love helping people make the changes they want to make in their lives and support and encourage them through their personal journey. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, license # 30195.
My Approach & Values
I believe strongly that therapeutic change is based upon the healthy boundaries and relationship between the client and the therapist. Due to that professional and emotionally charged relationship it is important that you find a therapist that is a good fit for you, that you can trust and be vulnerable with and that you feel cares for you in the nature of this healthy relationship. This setting encourages change and support and allows you to accomplish the goals that you intend to achieve in your relationships with yourself and others.
My Expertise
Although I have experience working in various modalities I feel it is important to contour approaches and treatment to the individual(s). I have experience working with adults and children, and have a particular interest in working with adolescents and their families and adults going through transitions in their lives. I use various tools to assist in treatment and that you can take from our sessions and use on a regular basis as you work to make the changes in your life that you are hoping for.
